We are currently seeking several individuals for each of the following positions:

Software Developer
Sales Executive

Software Developer

As part of our planned expansion, we are seeking a developer with good skills in C#, .NET and Microsoft SQL Server to assist in maintaining and supporting the current applications as well as working in a team to develop new features and products. The candidate should be a self-motivator, a good communicator and have a willingness to learn new skills. This is a great opportunity to acquire skills in SAP and other exciting technologies. The role will also include a certain amount of product support.

Required Skills:

  • C# and .NET Framework (Windows Forms mainly but WebForms an advantage)
  • Microsoft SQL Server (Stored procedures, triggers, cursors, user defined functions etc)
  • XML, XSLT
  • Database modelling experience
  • Understanding of object orientated development

Bonus skills:

  • SAP (ABAP, BASIS)
  • Visual Basic

Sales Executive

This person will report to the VP of sales and will be responsible for handling all sales within a region of the US.

Responsible for:

  • Meeting/exceeding a sales quota
  • Generating new sales leads and making calls to these leads
  • Running demos and presentations to potential customers
  • Managing the sales pipeline
  • Working sales opportunities through to close
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in technical sales and will be expected to become proficient in Quadrate's product line.

Requirements:

  • Experience selling enterprise software
  • A history of success in meeting sales goals
  • Experience with "C-level" customers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • MS Office skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel

Pre-Sales/Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Pre- and post-sales engineering, including:

  • Giving presentations to customers/partners
  • Performing product demonstrations
  • Create and support pilot implementations for prospective customers

Pre- and post-implementation activities for clients:

  • Comprehend client needs and translate them into working requirements
  • Continuously improve Quadrate's software delivery process
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers and our clients
  • Propose new software features and initiate defect corrections promptly
  • Understand how our software works and interacts with SQL Server, Excel, and SAP

Support Engineering:

  • Anticipate client needs and issues
  • Provide a first level of trouble resolution support, analyzing process and technical issues
  • Work with software developers to resolve defects
  • travel to customer sites to assist with issues

Experience

  • A programmer/analyst analyzing requirements and implementing the agreed upon changes
  • Experience efficiently accessing relational databases
  • Extensive customer-facing experience
  • Previous sales engineering experience
  • Understanding a broad range of software technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent business and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with personnel
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Ability to work on in a team environment

Customer Support Analyst

This position is primarily responsible for working with customers to support the company's products.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Providing timely and accurate telephone support for customers
  • Where appropriate, design and implement configuration changes
  • Creating support documentation, including FAQ�s, technical notes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills for software and hardware
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
  • Strong analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent on-the-job experience is preferred.
  • Experience with development or support of a large, client/server application.

Minimum 4-5 years experience working with:

  • Windows Operating systems (Win 2000 & XP)
  • Technical Customer Support
  • PC hardware and Peripherals
  • Networking
